About People Happy

As the Founder of People Happy, Clare has a Masters Degree in HR Management coupled with over 20 years experience working in HR teams in the public, private and charity sectors. Her most recent role was as a Senior HR Manager in a large charity based in the North West, dealing with UK based and international HR issues (Kenya, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone and India). Previous senior roles have involved sectors including Clinical Sciences, Finance, Communications, Customer Service, Engineering, Transport and IT Services.

People Happy was born out of some changes in Clare’s life, a house move to a different location, and an opportunity to work on projects that resinate with her interests and strengths.

Experience has shown her that you have to be ready to adapt and change. Working with people means that each situation is as unique as the individuals involved, and just when you think nothing can surprise you, it does. That’s what makes it exciting and challenges us, and we all need a challenge to progress.

Clare believes HR can shape organisations and society, enabling people to be the most they can be, and developing organisations to achieve goals in an ethical and focused manner. HR can shape an organisation to provide strong frameworks for its people to thrive. With the right framework, the right people and the right culture the possibilities are limitless for the future of organisations and the future of work for generations to come.
